Welcome to the Forgiving Lies by Molly McAdams & Foreplay by Sophie Jordan blog tour, hosted by Mundie Mom Blog Tours & the Mundie Girl Blog Tour site.
FOREPLAY:
Before she goes after the life she’s always wanted, she’s about to find the one she needs.
Pepper has been hopelessly in love with her best friend’s brother, Hunter, for like ever. He’s the key to everything she’s always craved: security, stability, family. But she needs Hunter to notice her as more than just a friend. Even though she’s kissed exactly one guy, she has just the plan to go from novice to rock star in the bedroom-take a few pointers from someone who knows what he’s doing.
Her college roommates have the perfect teacher in mind. But bartender Reece is nothing like the player Pepper expects. Yes, he’s beyond gorgeous, but he’s also dangerous, deep-with a troubled past. Soon what started as lessons in attraction are turning both their worlds around, and showing just what can happen when you go past foreplay and get to what’s real…

- How would you describe your upcoming/new release in 5 words or less?
Sexy, fun, emotional, hot but also ... relatable
. - Which of your characters would you be friends with?
Hm. Pepper in Foreplay. She's low-maintenance and easy to be around. She'll watch a movie with you or shop or get a pedi. She's down to earth and also probably one of the most honest people you'll ever meet.
- Which character is the most challenging to write?
Right now, it's Emerson in TEASE. She's a tricky character because she's not all she appears to be. Not only is she fooling others ... she's fooling herself.
- What's one of your favorite lines or scenes from your book?
In Foreplay, there's a scene where Reece takes Pepper's cell phone from her, types on it, tosses it aside. I LOVE this scene. It's sexy as hell. Especially when the scene ends with Reece's dialogue: "That you're staying the night with me."
I'm sharing this out of context, but you'll have to read it for yourself to see if you agree with me or not. :)
- How do you overcome writer's block?
Write ... lol...
- What are your “must have” items when writing?
Hm. Lattes.
- Where's your favorite place to write?
Coffee shops.
- Which character was the most fun for you to write?
Pepper. It was just fun to write a college-set contemporary. It was like revisiting my college years, which was a great time in my life. Pepper was a fun mix of me and all my college friends. ;)
- What is one thing your main character Pepper has taught you?
To never give up ... to persevere.
- If you could insert one of your favorite fictional characters into your book, who would that be and why?
Probably Mr. Darcy. He's all hot, stoic and misunderstood but noble to the core. Um. But then he would end up being the hero because what guy could compete with him, right?
Sophie Jordan
Sophie Jordan took her adolescent daydreaming one step further and penned her first historical romance in the back of her high school Spanish class. This passion led her to pursue a degree in English and History.
A brief stint in law school taught her that case law was not nearly as interesting as literature - teaching English seemed the natural recourse. After several years teaching high school students to love Antigone, Sophie resigned with the birth of her first child and decided it was time to pursue the long-held dream of writing.
In less than three years, her first book, Once Upon A Wedding Night, a 2006 Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Nominee for Best First Historical, hit book shelves. Her second novel, Too Wicked To Tame, released in March 2007 with a bang, landing on the USA Today Bestseller's List
